1. Log in to Your WHMCS Client Area

Visit: https://the-website-hoster.com/whmcs/clientarea.php

Enter your username and password
2. Navigate to Services

Once logged in, look for "My Services" or "My Products/Services"

Click on the active hosting service you wish to cancel
3. Request Cancellation

In the service details page, look for a button/link labelled:

"Request Cancellation" or

"Manage Cancellation"

Click this button to begin the cancellation process
4. Select Cancellation Type

Choose between:

Immediate Cancellation (service ends right away)

End of Billing Period (service continues until next due date)

5. Provide Cancellation Reason (Optional)

Some systems may ask for a reason for cancellation

You can select from the drop-down options or enter your own
6. Confirm Cancellation

Review the cancellation details

Check for any important warnings about data loss

Click "Confirm Cancellation" or a similar button
7. Verification (if required)

Some systems may send a verification email

Click the confirmation link in the email to finalise the cancellation
8. Check for Confirmation

You should receive an on-screen confirmation

Expect an email confirmation of your cancellation request
Important Notes:
- Automatic payments may continue until cancellation is processed

Always back up your data before cancelling

Consider downgrading instead of cancelling if you might need service later
